IP camera viewer Vision Not connects to cameras

Hello,

I have tried to connect in vision with the IP camera viewer component to two (new) cameras:
Bosch Dinion IP 3000i IR
Hikvision DS-2CD1623G0-I

I have used Ignition 7.9.7 and 8.0.9 and it doesn’t works.

It is strange that with two new camera models Ignition cannot connect to either camera…

We are able to connect to other(old models) Bosch and Hikvision cameras.

The error is: “http error 401 unauthorized acces” (the user and password are correct)

Some help?

thank you,

Hello,

It is very strange that two new camera models doesn’t works, it looks like something has change in the new camera models(in general for all cameras) and the IP viewer component cannot open the MJPEG stream.

I am the only one with this problem?

Thank you,

Good morning.

Have you selected this option in “IP Camera Viewer”?

Have you checked the streaming URL in the technical data sheet of the device?

For example, for our Hikvision Cameras, it is: http://[IP]/Streaming/channels/102/httppreview

I our company we have connected several Hikvision Cameras to Ignition. If you want, I can help you by remoto control, for example AnyDesk.

Best Regards.

Hello,

First of all, thank you for answer.

We have connected to different cameras BOSCH and Hikvision.

We are able to connect to older model (DS-2C2620) of hikvision but with this new model we are not able. we have tried a lot of url string connection with authentication and without. We usually use https://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=hikvision to get the url connection string we have tried all of them without any good results…

thank you,

best regards,

Hola.

This might help:

Via Google Translate:

Only in v7.9 for now...

Thank you, but this is not a real solution for me maybe if you have 1 camera connected is ok, but when you have 100 cameras, I think that this is not a good idea. For me it is better that the client connects directly to the camera and not through the gateway.

I had an new Hikvision camera and did get also this Authentication issue, i read the dforum and one tip what helped me to get it work was to go to System > Security, then there set the items to Digest/Basic it was set to only Digist then it did not work

Then i set the IP camera viewer to the right JPEG Stills with an 5sec refresh, the way to get this JPEG picture out command is also for webpages. http://10.4.0.17/Streaming/channels/1/picture wher in my case the ip adress of the camera was 10.4.0.17.

Now it works, we use different cams AXIS, IPUX and now also the HIVISION we have work in same order but the way to get the picture out is different…

Form most network, and scada we donnot wann have too much banthwith so with the stills you can do that, but the MPEG dit also work but is live video its way to overdone for the use, if do try to put into the camera a lower resolution, and frames/ps that way your network not get overloded with the VIDEO.

Greets from The netherlands…
