According to inductiveautomation.com/blog/the-future-of-ignition-79-lts-and-eol-plans, 7.9 EOL was June 2024; however, Vertech states that 7.9 LTS extends into 2025, and the installers for 7.9.21 are still downloadable. So...does it or doesn't it? (continue to be supported) Thanks!
I think it's the EOL that was extended to mid-2025.
It's currently in what the support policy describes as the "Limited Support" phase.
We aren't adding features or fixing bugs. Development is done, but support won't turn you away if you call about 7.9.

Can we infer that 8.3 will be stable in about May 2025 from this chart? (Since Active support for 8.1 is almost halfway through 2027). I know, I know.....no exact date yet, but I'm excited to try out the new interface and features! 
At the moment we're planning to release 8.3 earlier than that... whether that changes and if it's "stable" at that point are another discussion
