Is it normal for my own posts to appear grayed-out?

Whenever I post a topic, it appears grayed-out in listings, and I’ve also had few views and replies to my postings. is anyone seeing this post?

Then I’m assuming that it’s meant to make one’s own posts stand out.

In the topic view, the bold topics have content you haven’t seen, IIRC.

Yes, gray topics are ones you have viewed, bold/regular are ones you have not.
