Is it normal to have same URI for master and backup nodes?

Hello,
I am setting up a redundant pair of Ignition servers.
Up to now I have succesfully setup redundancy, and I can do failover. My client is also able to switch to current active node.
I am currently following Ignition's OPC UA Server | Ignition User Manual and saw that server URI (ns=0;i=2254) are the same for master and backup. I was not expecting this from what I could read in the manual.
I regenerated server certificates, download them and inspect them, the URI is still the same in the SAN field.

Can someone shade a bit of light of what is going on here. How critical is it to follow instructions in Ignition's OPC UA Server | Ignition User Manual

Thanks

In the process of setting up redundancy as well and ran into the same issue. Hopefully there's an answer soon.

It’s “normal” in the sense that it is a known and unfixable bug for 8.1 :frowning:

This has been fixed for 8.3 though.
