We have a test server that is identical to our production instance of Ignition (7.5.4, java 6u23, Win 7).
I can connect to the home page from my pc/browser without issue using the normal path (i.e. 10.1.0.67:8088/main/web/home)
When I upgraded the test server to Ignition 7.6.6 and Java 7u60, all seems OK on the test server itself, but I am now unable to reach the homepage or launch projects from my own pc.
I get a generic message in IE to the effect that “resource is online but isn’t responding to connection attempts”. My pc has java 7u60 as well.
If I revert the server back to original versions, I’m able to connect again. On the test server itself I have no problems using the designer or launching projects.
Is there a java setting on the gateway that is affecting this issue? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
