Hello, I am currently trying to send an UDT instance using MQTT from my edge gateway to to an ignition gateway on a separate VM. Every time I test it I can only view two Tags within the UDT instance on the receiving end, even though I thought my configuration was correct.
Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
You may have to issue a refresh command on the Edge side (go to your MQTT Transmission tag provider and look to see if it needs a refresh, and you can trigger a refresh from the MQTT tag provider if needed. If that doesn't work, delete the UDT from the MQTT engine that isn't working, and trigger another refresh on the Transmission side and it should rebuild the UDT and tags for you.
The MQTT Engine does not update UDT definitions if they change. You need to delete the UDT definition manually on the MQTT Engine tag provider and do a rebirth to recreate with the new UDT definition.
