Hi everyone,
I'm encountering issues while upgrading Ignition from version 7.9 to 8.1.
Before applying the update in the client environment, I'm testing the process on a dedicated machine.
Here's what I did:
- Installed Ignition version 7.9.16.
- Restored a backup of the 7.9.16 Gateway.
- Used the Ignition 8.1.45 installer to perform the upgrade.
The upgrade process seems to complete without errors. However, when I try to access the Gateway after installation, I encounter the following message:
I also noticed that the Ignition service fails to start.
I’ve checked the wrapper.log
, but I couldn’t identify the root cause of the problem.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any advice on how to resolve this?
