Java 6 EOL and Mobile App

Is there a solution in the works for the mobile app working with Java 7 or a next generation mobile app? My clients love the mobile app, but but would not allow us to keep Java 6 installed on the ignition server if it is not being patched. Especially given the vulnerabilities Java has been dealing with lately (though those were mostly with Java 7).

We have plans for making the Mobile Module work with Java 7. Right now it looks like it will be in Ignition 7.7.

So is that is putting us at about a year out?
