Jupyter Notebook Integration with Ignition for Script Development?

Hello,

I'm new to Ignition and currently working on a project that involves a fairly large script—over 1000 lines of code. In my past experience, I've found Jupyter Notebook incredibly useful for testing and debugging code in a more interactive way.

I'm wondering:

  • Does Ignition support any kind of integration with Jupyter Notebook?
  • Or is there a recommended method to use Jupyter for script development and troubleshooting in parallel with Ignition?

I’d appreciate any suggestions or insights from those who have tackled similar challenges.

Thank You

Check out the Jupyter Kernel Exchange resource that Andrew Geiger from Corso Systems put together. I've played with it a bit and it's pretty sweet, and really well documented!

Thanks for the recommendation

According to the link the Jupyter Kernel requires a web development module, is that included by default in Ignition?

It's a separately priced module on a licensed production gateway, but like everything in Ignition you're able to try it with a 2 hour timer that you can keep resetting.
