Apparently, there was a reason if they fixed it.....

A somewhat better way to write the release note might have been “gateway network connections were frequently disconnecting for no external reason” aka something like a network blip (disclaimer: I wrote this particular release note). But we get admonished if we add too much detail to release notes, and this situation was already complex and hard to explain.
