I was trying to connect to a compact logix 1769-L32E. I tried a new channel with a new device and I 'm having problems with the connection.
I think we’re going to need a description of the problems you’re encountering.
I recently struggled with connecting to a compact logix myself.
What eventually worked for me was:
[ul][li]Channel = Control Logix Ethernet
[list][]Model = Compact Logix 5300[/li]
[li]ID = IP Address, 1, 0[/li][/ul][/:m][/list:u]
