I am trying to launch Outlook with a PDF attached, of a Report Viewer. I am able to launch Outlook using “system.util.execute([“cmd.exe”,”/C",“start”,“mailto:example@example.com”])" command. Has anyone used this function and attached a pdf as well?
I don’t want to configure the email to go to the same address each time, the user needs this function.
Also, is it possible to add the email option to the pop up box that is already in place on the a chart/report viewer?
In Ignition 7.8, there will be several email options for reports, including emailing reports on a schedule or by scripting.
