Hello, we’ve got an ignition gateway server that uses LDAP as it’s primary form of authentication. The LDAP account got its password forcibly changed due to a domain security breach. Is there some way I can modify the LDAP lookup account information without first signing in? Any other workarounds you might have?
Thanks for your time,
Asten
The easiest solution would be to just copy the existing settings (other than password) to a new profile, then delete the old profile and rename the new one. Everything in Ignition should reference the profile by it’s name as a string and ‘just work’ when you switch things over.
That said, definitely take a .gwbk before doing anything.

Thank you. I took a backup as suggested. Then, I was able to get back via web admin in by doing a gateway password change via: https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC80/Gateway+Command-line+Utility
