LDAP log into ignition, lost privileges

I have Ignition 8 installed on an OPTO22 EPIC PR2 and have been working to implement LDAP. I have gotten it to work with the Designer and Client. However, when I went back to login to Ignition for Administrative functions, login works but hove no privileges when I get there. Cant seem to go back to the default user source.

I Am Stuck!

You would normally need to use gwcmd -p on a console to set a temporary user source and IdP. Then use that to fix the problem and switch back.

You may need the SSH option for your Epic to get to a console.

Thanks pturmel.

After installing SSH license and logging into Linux couldn’t find the folder for Ignition 8. Advice from Opto22: gwcmd is not supported - use groov Manage to start/stop Ignition. I just started another thread - after re-installing the EPIC firmware, Ignition doesn’t start.

Decided to re-install the EPIC system firmware t resolve this issue.
