Left Menu Category Hover Annoyance

It may just be me, but I’m not a fan of the hovering on a category changing the displayed menu. Multiple times I’ve not realized I hovered over a different icon than the category I selected and had a different set of menus than what I was expecting. Personally, I’d like to see this go away and require a click to change the category of menus shown.

Example of Diagnostics clicked, but connections was hovered for a second before moving over the menus:

You’re not the first to be frustrated with this, but we won’t be able to change this behavior before release. Expect changes to behavior and appearance as early as 8.3.1.

So annoying. Almost as annoying as none of those top level menu items allowing ctrl+click to open in a new tab :angry:

I hadn't even tried that yet, but that would be annoying as well.
