I am wondering if anyone has any experience with older cognex camaras that do not support their OPC server. For months now I have been testing with what I thought was the oldest model we need to support the In-Sight Micro 1000 and turns out we have loads of In-Sight 1000 which are just a bit older but no jobserver thus no OPC support.
Have not looked at the SDK, but I am hoping someone can steer me in the right direction and best practices, especially since I will have a loads of OPC connected (slam dunk) and some legacy devices, I would like to handle them as close as possible.
I understand the process will involve downloading a job via FTP and then perhaps over standard tcp enable “online mode”.
Any help would be much appreciated.
