Licence for MAker Edition

Hi
I manage to generate a license and token on the website but when I copy the License key and Token on to the software , it comes up with “ACTIVATION FAILED” . Need help .

Does your Ignition Maker gateway have internet access? That is a requirement for Maker. It has to “call home” regularly.

I tried open the ignition gateway program but not open at all. tha activation of ignite is opened on the page in the explorer, no in a program, or is it just me?

  1. Please don't post actual license keys for the public to see.
  2. Maker licenses need an activation token, too.
  3. Your gateway (not necessarily the machine running your browser) needs access to the internet to validate the license, and to repeat the validation regularly.
  4. Ignition is a web server, and configuration is via a browser.

Look in your gateway install folder for the logs subfolder, and open the wrapper.log file. There is likely an error report in there that corresponds to the displayed activation failure, but with additional explanation.
