License activation issues

Hello!

We currently have two Ignition licenses. One of them is fully operational and installed on one of our offline servers and working well. The other license, however, is currently in use, and we are unsure of its exact location. It was likely used in a safety duplicate environment that is no longer needed.

When attempting to activate this second license on a new Gateway, we encountered an error indicating that the license is already in use. Is there a way to reset or deactivate this license so that we can reassign it to a fresh Gateway and start using it again?

You probably should teach your team to deactivate any Ignition license before decommissioning any gateway.
