License.ipl file transfer

I have an active activation code that I am trying to use on an offline computer.

I was able to get the offline computer to create the activation text file. I then went to a computer with internet access and it did create a license.ipl file (its only 1kb, is this right size?) When I go to copy it from the computer with internet access to a flash drive I get the following:

Will this file still be ok to use on computer without internet access if I say YES?

It’s impossible to say for sure, because that’s an error dialog coming from Windows, not anything to do with Ignition. It’s probably because some extra metadata Windows tries to attach to files can’t be stored on the filesystem of the flash drive. If that doesn’t mean anything to you, that’s totally fine.

Give it a try; the worst that can happen is nothing.
