- Are there any limitations with handling video streams in Ignition? Especially in terms of storing the feed & contextualizing it with production batches.
Ignition has no built-in functionality to handle/store video feeds. The IP Camera Viewer component in Vision can display MJPEG, and Perspective can use your browser's native support to display more. The closest thing to video handling on an Ignition gateway is my Image Streamer module:
It does not have any recording features, though I can put that on my to-do list...
