I am having some issues with the Designer font rendering in Fedora Linux, I have tried the methods for adding the mscorefonts specified in other forum posts but it did not fix anything.
OS: Fedora 36
DE: KDE Plasma
Graphics Platform: Wayland
A quick answer to my own question, adding
-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=on
To the JVM args fixed the issue.
