I have Ignition 8.3.7 installed on a linux box. Whenever I try to do anything in Ignition Designer, a popup tells me "An app want to share your screen. Choose what you'd like to share". I can't seem to find a way to please the system such that this popup stops appearing. Any advice?
Run your designer locally. Connect directly to the gateway through your VPN instead of indirectly through remote desktop. The native connection to the gateway is far more bandwidth efficient than an RDP session, for most tasks.

Ah. Is that a Wayland-only issue? I run everything under X11 due to NVidia issues in Wayland, and I've never seen that.
Yeah, Wayland/XWayland, plus the synthetica look and feel doing some stupid screenshot-based fallback on Linux when rendering shadows around menus fails or something.
