When Ignition is launched, it works for about a minute or two and then I receive the error “loadlibrary failed with error 87 when launching ignition”. I reinstalled ignition and java on my computer and the issue is still occuring within the Designer. Any advice? Thanks!

I just had a client say he is receiving the same error msg.
A quick Google search tells me this might have something to do with an outdated graphics driver. Might require a complete reinstall.

The cause when this was happening to me was due to corrupted system files on the Windows OS for the VM that I was running Ignition on. I ended up starting over on a fresh Windows 10 virtual machine and this issue never arose afterwards. Go to your command prompt and type in “sfc /scannow”, hit enter, let the command run. It will tell you if there are corrupted files on your machine.
