The Locale setting in the Gateway is “en_US” and the System/Client/User/Language tag value is “en”. I have changed the Windows locale to be French/France and those values still remain an English/US locale, even after restarting the machine (and Gateway).
What do I need to do to update the Gateway and System/Client/User/Language tag to the new locale?
Ignition is getting its locale information from Java, which is getting the information from the OS. Try updating your version of Java and then restart the machine. Double check all of your settings before you restart. There is a way we can hard code the locale information in the ignition.conf file, but we shouldn’t need to do that.
