I’ve been asked by a customer to include string tag values in a table that is being populated using the system.tag.queryTagHistory function. They want these string tags logged along with the relevant analog data.
In essence the operator would select a time period over which the above function is executed. The resulting dataset is then used to populate a table component.
The string data is human readable (and human entered) data describing the site/building/room/location of the sensor collecting the analog data. If these sensors are moved, they want the textual data to be updated and then be reflected in the table.
Though I can configure a string tag with a History configuration, I’m not sure if it actually logs as the configuration is very much analog/discrete value centric.
Is this functionality even possible?
