If anyone out there has resolved this I would greatly appreciate some tips. As a test we successfully configured our gateway backup to a local folder on the same Windows server computer as the gateway. However our desire is to put the backup on another computer. But when following the instructions in the knowledge base to allow a file write permission on the target remote Windows server computer, the backup fails. On the target file server, I created a firewall “Inbound Rule” on the Windows Server firewall configuration called “Ignition” and port 8088. Is there any example out there showing the inbound Ignition backup utility firewall parameters?? Maybe there is a different requirement? Thank you in advance for reading this post…
