Mac Designer Download - Wrong Java Runtime for Intel Machines

I am using an Intel Macbook running on MacOS Sequoia 15.7.4.

I couldn’t launch the designer after downloading and installing from the gateway. After some debugging I found out the download is packaged with an arm64 java runtime, incorrectly identifying these machines.

Ignition 8.3 does not support Intel Macs - Apple Silicon only.

You can run the Designer/Gateway in an x64 VM running Linux or Windows as a workaround.
