I use ignition for compressor monitoring, in this case I want to monitor the status of the alarm pressure on the flow meter, and this flow meter correlates with the compressor status.
The client requests an alarm when the pressure is below a certain setpoint, but not when the compressor is turned off or when the pressure is below the setpoint for one minute.
