Memory allocation with multi monitor client

Hi All,

We are running a vision client on a 4K display and spawning four desktops on this display. I am wondering how ignition with allocate memory. Will it allocate a block of memory for each desktop as its own or are all 4 under the client memory constraint set via the project properties or command line override in client launcher.

The memory allocation setting is per Vision client executable.

I don’t know what you ended up doing after that other thread, 1 Vision client instance or 4.

Hi Kevin,

We really did not develop this project to be multi monitor then customer asked after the fact. This seemed the simplest route to achieve what they wanted.
