Metric History Manager - Could not write metric value to database:[SQLITE_CANTOPEN]

I am getting an error in my logs related to MetricHistoryManager. The error is "Could not write metric value to database:[SQLITE_CANTOPEN] Unable to open the database file (unable to open database file)"

What might be causing this error? How do you solve it?

Delete the file metrics.idb in ~/data/metricsdb/ and restart the gateway.

Does something in permission/user security changed?
