I don’t know if this has been covered before but thought I would ask. In my project I have a good amount of message handlers configured. While testing I began to receive errors from the DispatchManager that the message handlers I was calling were null in the ScriptManager. I went to check the gateway and found that none of my project’s events were in the Gateway Scripts page. This is in my test environment, but I would like to know if this is a known issue in 8.1.50 and if there are any known fixes. Thanks in advance!
It sounds like something went wrong and wiped out your gateway events resource entirely.
That's obviously not something we want/expect to happen, and I'm not aware of any bugs that would cause it to be unceremoniously removed. Are you doing anything with git, filesystem manipulation, etc? Any recent backup restores, project import/export, etc?
Nothing with git or file manipulation. I have been working on an automated test suite to create/delete udts and set up the environment for tests but that is it. I will probably try a restart of the gateway and see if that helps at all.
I would compare/contrast the state of the event-scripts resource on disk and in a project export from the affected project.
I would also contact our support department officially.
