Looking to see if anyone out there has successfully connected calipers or micrometers to Ignition. If so what brand and communication platform, and how did you go about getting the measurements from what I’m assuming would be TCP/IP or UDP connection. I imagine I would have to be constantly pinging all devices to see if a measurement was available.
Has anyone tried using the Mitutoyo U-wave to capture measurement data?
Also interested if anyone has managed to connect one of these. One of my customers is looking to integrate the calipers with Ignition.
