How can I launch the mobile client without scanning the barcode or opening a browser?
Can’t I just create an app that can be downloaded to the device ? I believe I’ve seen this somewhere.
Depending on the device you can add a quick launch icon to the home screen of a device. With iOS devices you would go to the Ignition gateway homepage with Safari, then select the center icon that is a rectangle with an arrow pointing left, in the next window select “Add to Home Screen.” This will create a shortcut. There may be a similar process for other mobile devices.
