Sorry this ground has been trod in previous posts. I tried the proposed solutions and none of them seem to work. My mobile client won’t launch immediately on iPhone 6 or iPhone 5 or Android. It takes 1-7 restarts before the client launches.
Here are my specs:
v 7.7.2 Ignition
v 8.0_25 Java on the Gateway
V 7u72 Java on Mobile
I need an answer as quickly as you can provide one. This project is due Thursday.

To resolve this issue you will want to change the path to Java in Mobile Settings. This will be done in the Gateway via your web browser. The first property under Mobile Settings is the path to Java. For Ignition 7.7 this should be a path to Java 8. I know it instructs you to use a path for Java 7, and this is misleading. Place the entire path to the java.exe here. I will be submitting a request to have the Java 7 instruction changed. If you have just “java” in this field it indicates you are using whatever version of Ignition is on the system path. Since we do not have control over which version of Java is being used we want to explicitly set the path. Something like this, or whatever the path is for your installation of Java
C:/Program Files/Java/jre1.8.0_25/bin/java.exe

Sorry to say but we face the same problem here and everything is set as required : only one Java version installed, good path set to the Java.exe, latest stable ignition version.
Launching take 3 tries, and always 3 tries.
What can we do for troubleshoot it ? Any debug mode ?
