Does anybody know a way of getting the GPS coordinates of a phone through an Ignition mobile client? From what I read the client is actually running on the server so this may not be possible, but thought I would ask if anyone else has tried.
That is correct, the client is actually running on the server. This question was kind of raised in the past in regards to client time. But since there is no way of knowing the actual time, or GPS coordinates, on the mobile device, it can’t be done.
Another option, I don’t know if this is along the line of what your looking for, could be found in a case study that we have. Look this over and see if it helps
