Mobile phone close/lock causes gateway message popups

Is there any way to either control the popups that say that the gateway is lost and is back, or better yet, is there a way to keep the session running in the background, in the browser or in the mobile client?

People constantly lock their phone and put it in their pocket or whatever. Getting these messages and restart delays every time they unlock to use the app is not great. Ideas?

Keeping the session running in the background isn’t a possibility mobile devices. iOS and Android do a lot to help conserve power/memory, which includes limiting network capabilities for apps when screen is off.

We could probably adjust the behavior of disconnects on mobile devices to make it less noticeable. I’ll look into it and see what we can do.
