Modbus Plus Driver

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a plant where we are switching them from old adroit to ignition.

They currently have some devices that use the Modicon Modbus Plus Protocol.
Is there a driver in ignition that supports this protocol or do the current drivers in ignition work with the protocol.

If there is not driver support we will have them update those pieces of equipment to use Modbus TCP.

Modbus Plus requires special hardware. I am not aware of any Ignition drivers. You really should plan on upgrading those to Modbus TCP.

No, but you can use the regular Modbus TCP/IP driver if you have a gateway.
