Create a new scan class in the designer’s tag browser. (The stopwatch icon in its toolbar.) Set the rate to 5000 milliseconds. Create a tag somewhere in the tree that references your device and some valid address within it. Change the scan class property for that tag to your new scan class.
(If you have any tags on a faster pace, this isn’t necessary.)
