ModBUS TCP 200mS historian

I have a power meter on LAN that hardware-wise claims to support ModBUS TCP polling at 200mS intervals (Janitza UMG 604). I only need to poll and log to historian one tag, a 32-bit float.

Is it possible to achieve this on Ignition 7.9.12? I’ve skimmed the forum and mixed responses.

The LAN path is pretty direct, UMG is beside the Server, all cat6 1 Gigabit; UMG604->MikroTik R4011->Physical Server->Hyper-V Win Server 2012R2.

Sure, I don’t see why not. Make a 200ms scan class and put that 1 tag in it.
