Module Marketplace available for european users?

Is there any ‘official’ way for european users to access the free modules (like the PDFViewer) from the Marketplace?
I can see the modules when i use an US-Proxy, but i think that’s not the way to go.

By the way, maybe a little notice on the Marketplace like ‘Modules are not available for your country’ would be better than just displaying no modules.

I know it is a little confusing. The modules are not available in certain countries since there is a distributor in that region.
