More info on methods in values of simulator program

I was pondering device simulation and wondered how usable the device simulator would be if we could alter the program.

Looking into it may be possible to generate a "mirror program."

I see certain tags methods are used in values such as Ramp() and Realistic(). To simulate changing tags.

I'm wondering where those come from or what language is being used. And what are the limits/capabilities of arguments which can be passed in for simulation. Is their any documentation I could find on that?

If so it might be fairly easy to script a simulator program.

Thank you in advance I appreciate any feedback on this.
