Hello everyone, I have a quick question.
At the moment, I have both a Vision and a Perspective license on the same server, each used for developing separate projects. The Perspective project has grown significantly, and we now need to split the two projects onto different servers for various reasons.
Is it possible to move the Perspective license to another server, assuming that I purchase the required platform license and any additional modules needed for it to run properly?
Thank you
Generally, yes.

Thanks for your reply.
I’m asking because I had a brief discussion with someone, and I was told (though not very clearly and something that still needs to be confirmed also from his side) that moving a license might be possible when scaling within the same system (for example, expanding front-end and back-end), but not when moving everything to a completely new server.
This left me quite puzzled, especially considering that our current setup is redundant, so we’re talking about a significant investment. It’s one thing to purchase base “supporting” licenses, but it’s quite another to have to buy a full Perspective Unlimited license with redundancy again, while already owning one that cannot be used on another server.
This forum is not official support, and IA sales policies do change occasionally. Go to the source of truth for sales policy.
I will note that there's no way to use the IA website pricing tool to auto-generate a quote for this. You really need IA sales to help you split licenses and fill in the resulting gaps.
That’s exactly what I did, but the answer I received wasn’t entirely clear or convincing, which is why I decided to open this topic.
I understand this isn’t official support, and I’m not looking for an official answer—just trying to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience recently, so I can compare and better understand how this is typically handled in practice.
Also, I would expect (and hope) that sales policies are consistent across countries, rather than varying depending on the region
