I am looking at taking over an Ignition program that is running on a cloud based platform. Can I take that program and run it on a physical computer on site? The site wants to move away from any cloud based systems for security reasons.
Your question title "Ignition Perspective" doesn't tell anyone much about the content of the question - and both words are already in the tags. You want to attract folks that may have the answer. I've edited it for you.

Generally, yes, after tweaking any cloud-specific DNS names scattered through it.
I endorse this attitude, at least for anything directly communicating with production systems.

One possible caveat is if the cloud system is explicitly using our relatively new Cloud Edition - in which case restoring the backup to a local system will have some minor hoops to jump through; consider contacting our support department for a full walkthrough.
