As Ignition recommends MQTT as the “Protocol for IIoT and Smart City” projects to manage 1000’s of geographically distributed RTUs, i thought it deserves deeper discussion and hence i am initiating this topic.
Remote RTUs can be programmed to send the datalogs as timestamped CSV/JSON file by SFTP protocol.
How can we download “remote RTU datalogs” into Ignition and merge it with the Ignition Historian?
