MQTT Module Restart

I am using Edge IIOT, the full server and Edge are both 8.1.35.

When I add new tags at the Edge node, to get them to appear on the server I have to restart the MQTT transmission module on Edge.

Is this normal?

There is a 'Refresh' tag under the MQTT Transmission tag provider you can trigger to force Transmission to relearn the tag map and publish a new birth(s).
