Multiple UDT definitions with same name in UDT hierarchy bug?

In the case that multiple UDT definitions with the same names exist, it messes with the UDT hierarchy.

When I click “view UDT hierarchy” on this UDT definition (with path “Library 04/ControlModules/AM2D/02/002/AM2D”) it somehow refers to another AM2D definition in the hierarchy

This is the definition it refers to

While it should be referring to this

It somehow thinks its “Library 04/ControlModules/AM2D/01/002/002/AM2D”
Instead of “Library 04/ControlModules/AM2D/02/002/AM2D”

It looks like it recognizes the same naming and structure and assumes it’s found the correct UDT definition in the hierarchy without looking at the actual UDT definition path.

I would like to know if this is a bug or if I am missing something, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Pretty sure this is a known bug, though I can't seem to find it quickly.

Alright thanks for the heads up!
I am currently on Ignition version 8.3.0, would you happen to know if this bug also exists on previous Ignition releases?

Yes, pretty sure it goes back a ways.
