I really need a new licensing tier that can compete with the pricing of modern IT frameworks. Right now, the current price range makes it difficult to win bids against platforms like N3uron.
If I'm reading their site pricing correctly, the pricing is $960 per module but every little thing is a module. Every different driver is a module. Sounds to me like it will add up fast.
One of many things. They're basically a weird Javascript knockoff of Ignition.
Yeah, as I scrolled their site, I noticed they were using the hexagons for modules and stuff too. And surprise they have a 2-hour resettable trial supposedly too. LOL

I played with the free trial for a bit tonight.
The Good:
- The WebUI has a good density to it.
- I like that you can see tags/alarms from the WebUI.
- They have some unique driver options (Aurora, Mettler Toledo, Domino).
- The demo projects are performant (albeit pretty simple).
- Web Vision
- Seems like you can Link tags/properties/functions to most properties.
- Being able to use JavaScript in a Web UI is nice (
) - The Designer is web based, and pretty easy to get into.
- Their Zoom/Pan feature is pretty good.
The Bad:
- Their documentation barely exists.
- The whole thing seems "A mile wide and an inch deep".
- The whole thing has really bad "discoverability".
- I couldn't figure out how to do anything in the Designer until I loaded to example projects.
- Like, literally anything. Zero clue what I was looking at.
Conclusion:
- Might be a good fit for super small OEM type projects.
- Seems like they put more effort into marketing than development.
- Honestly though, I think I'd rather use N3uron than VTScada.
