Had a customer call me this AM stating that no one could log into Ignition. This was one of these installations hit by this security issue last February:
support.inductiveautomation.com … te-expired.
I was out of town when this happened, but their IT guy from another plant went to the site and found this issue logging onto the gateway and trying to connect to MySQL with Workbench. :

He had to re-enter the default password to get the Ignition clients to log on. Is this an issue that is going to pop up at other locations that have the Java/Ignition combination from the February security issue warning?
The MySQL password expiring is just a coincidence.
As for the expired Ignition certificate: yes, this is is likely to happen to any installation of Ignition that has the now-expired certificate and is launching clients via webstart (so, any of the versions listed in that article as being affected).

OK,
Thanks Kevin. I was hoping I was not going to get a flood of phone calls like the February issue. We had 5 installations all fail at the same time with the last issue.
