Named Queries - Store and Forward System

Can named queries, particularly Inserts and Updates, be a part of the store and forward system?

I got it to work using system.db.runSFPrepUpdate script but would like to use named query for ease of code reuse.

I guess I can update this finally, that this is possible in 8.0.11
