Need some clarification on how the system.util.execute

So, I was looking at the documentation of the system.util.execute() and from my understanding it can run CMD prompts on the gateway. Which made me think about how ignition is running as administrator so wouldn’t that allow anyone with access to the ignition designer to run admin commands on the gateway, or am I misunderstanding how the function works?

  1. Don't run the Ignition service as administrator.

  2. Yes, designer access is "God Mode" for Ignition.
